Max Volume’s Time Out: Kids Singalong, Storytime & Musical Adventures

Meet Max Volume — vocalist, guitarist, and storyteller based in Nelson, BC. With a guitar in hand, a head full of songs, and a tickle trunk packed with instruments and stories, Max brings energetic, interactive performances that get kids and families singing, laughing, and joining in.

Drawing from years of experience as a musician in Vancouver, Max blends real-world musical knowledge with a playful and welcoming approach to music education and performance. Whether organizing music camps, leading workshops, or hosting lively singalongs, Max has a gift for turning a room full of people into an instant band.

Max Volume is all about helping young people discover the joy of making music together while creating a space where creativity can run wild.

Michelle and Friends

Michelle is an engaging singer and fiddle player who has a genuine love of  entertaining children. She plays a mixture of interactive kids songs and toe-tapping classics the whole family can enjoy.

An alumni of both Grant MacEwan and Humber Universities, Michelle has also been a side musician for many projects that have taken her across Canada and into the United States. Michelle has an ability to comfortably engage children and their families that she has developed in her years delivering programs for the Edmonton Public Library.

With Michelle And Friends, Michelle hopes to inspire children to sing and play by inviting guest musicians to showcase different instruments and genres.

Tomas (aka Tomfoolery) has been a student of magic since he was 14 years old, when he performed his very first show. Since then, his comedy magic show has traveled the world, entertaining audiences in schools, offices, and on stages, big and small. Tomas brings a blend of wit and mind-bending surprises to a show that is perfect for kids of all ages. Come see a performance full of laughter and things that simply shouldn’t be possible!
